Cheri,
that is so altruistic.
I imagine it is a great action of love for someone else but I think I would be too attached to the life groing within me.
I'd really love to know more of how you manage though?
In any event you're in the right place to start looking for support and education regarding vbac's.
I've heard of women successfully having vba2c and more here in SA.
Where you living now?

I am hoping more people will start posting soon.
I also started a yahoo group list that has done very well.
You may want to subscribe to that list under the tab above called VBACSA E-list.
There are hundreds of posts and some regarding VBAMC's.
Take care!
Love and encouragement

Thanks for the welcome Lia, I will definitely check out the other threads. At least I have a bit of time to do some thorough research and find a gynae / midwife that will be supportive of a VBA2C.
You have a great site here, it is godsent.

Cheri,
What an amazing story you have to tell. I admire your courage and selflessness in giving to others through yourself what they cannot have.
If you go to the VBAMC forum you will find several other posts regarding having a vba2c.
I am sure that you can find a midwife and doctor to support you in this.
I agree it is dangerous to contemplate 4 caesareans so you are wise to consider a vbac.
Let us know if you need more info after reading the other forums.
take care
Love and light

Hi there
I stumbled across this site when I tried doing some research on VBA2C and I am so happy I found it .
My intro: I am a mommy to a gorgeous 3 year old boy who was born via C-sect as he was breached and I actually elected it before we found out that it was indeed necessary. He was born via emergency C-sec as my blood pressure rocketed and I went into labour. Now recently I gave birth to another baby boy via C-sect (elective) as it was not my baby and I did not want to go through the intimatcy of a natural birth with someone else's baby. The crux of the matter is now I am scared! I dont want to have another C-sect and wish that I did some research before I had my surrobaby via C-sect. I would love to give birth normally and am really frightened that if I have another C-sect I can kiss my fertility good bye.
I am planning on doiing another surrogacy in March next year and would like to be prepared and would like to have a VBAC. I never dreamed it could be possible hence me doing the research expecting to find nothing – just advise that it is impossible as your uterine can rupture . And after this surrogacy I would like to try for my own baby and then shop is closed. I dont want 4 C-sect (apparently it is quite dangerous) and I want to experience “normal” birth.
I will appreciate any info and / or advise anyone can give me.
