This is surely most unusual for doc's!

Have you found a midwife yet?

From the other post I saw that Sue King does them.

Had a friend that used her and highly recommends her. I'll probably go that way too.

I've heard of other midwives too like Sharon Marsay that's really nice and has heaps of natural gentle births.

What do you envision for your hbac?

Find the person that believes in what you do.

You'll do great and there's still plenty time to sort it all out.

Hi There,

I am in need of some assistance getting a Midwife for my HBAC.

I had my son in 2006 and have decided that I will be staying far away

from hospitals with my next baby.

I am a private patient as I do not have a medical aid so I would like to do

my VBAC Water birth at home.

Dr Mia already said that he would support me but I am struggling

to get a Midwife. He gave me Linda's number and she said she only works with

patients she has had before.

Luckily I am only about 9 weeks but have been planning this for quite some time.

Please could someone refere me to a Midwife who will help.

I live in Johannesburg and visit Dr Mia at Genisus.
