wondering one!
I'm glad your wondering has brought you here.
It is sad that you were told after your first caesarean that you could no longer try for a natural birth. There are many women that have had succesful vbamc's all over the world.
South Africa is finally coming to the fore and is slowing catching on but in reality there is still much to be done as we still have doctors saying once a caesar always a caesar.
The question of risk that you ask about is true even if you have another baby.
It is not the delivery that puts you at risk but the actual pregnancy.
If the scar holds for the pregnancy then it will in all likelihood hold during birth.
There are many issues at play here and some further research on your part will help you understand that a vbac's risks are lower than another repeat caesarean.
Please look on the side of this website for the VBACSA e-list and join there as well as there are dozens of women on that email group that share experiences and information that can help you understand more of what you are searching for.
Please continue to ask your questions as they benefit many others who read them here.
Love and support
