 Megan,

Congratulations on your pregnancy.
Sounds like you really want a VBAC!

I haven't heard of any pro VBAC doctors in Bedford Gardens.
Any reason it cannot be elsewhere? There are many VBAC friendly midwives and doctors in other hospitals and clinics.

Let me know more

Hi Ladies, I am currently 17 weeks pregnant with my second little one and hoping with all my heart and soul to have a vbac after an emergency ceaser.

Any doctors you ladies might know of that deliver in Bedford Gardens that are pro vbac?
Any info you might have on getting this process going would be awesome.

Much love and laughter
Megan

Hi Kee,

 and congratulations on your pregnancy.
Your concern and worry is something to listen to as I'm sure you are nervous about something happening like what happened previously. Your worries at the

moment are also influencing your decisions and state of being. For yourself it would be a good idea to perhaps work through your previous birth story so that

you open a new space for this birth.
You've obviously been looking at all your options and have made some strong impressions already of how and where you would like to birth this new baby.

Listen to your gut and go with what it tells you. You will never led yourself into the wrong thing.
There are a few midwives at Genesis that do offer VBAC's. I have been a doula at many VBAC's with Sue King so I can highly recommend her. She has many, many

years experience. She also has a very high success rate with VBAC's. She is on the list of midwives working at Genesis so you can give her a call and

interview her.
Another wonderful midwife I've worked with and can recommend highly is Karen Van Der Merwe. She is very thorough and takes good care of her clients.
Both these midwives will give you every chance you need without putting you or your baby in danger. Both will listen to you and follow what it is you want to

do at each step of the way.

I wish you luck and look forward to hearing more of you as you travel through this exciting journey.

Love and trust

Regarding the overdue date there are some natural options you could try to help your body go into natural labour.

Hi…not really sure where to start…I'm 27 Years old and 18 weeks preg…
I gave birth to our beautiful daughter in August 2008 at 42 and a half weeks Preg, via c-sec at Linkwood…. We had originally planned a home water birth

with a mid-wife but I had not dilated by this time, so was sent to a Gynae 4 my c-sec…Our daughter swollowed her first meconium and had be resusitated at

birth so I am a bit nervous of going so far along in the pregnancy this time…

We have looked at Linkwood and Parklane (expecting to have another c-sec), when we happened to visit my Gynae at Genesis Clinic (which incidently we love!!!)

and it was suggested we look into a VBAC…

My questions are:
1. How do i find a mid-wife with VBAC experience operating out of Genesis (i'm a bit nervous to go that route again after our previous experience with a

midwife and would love some references)
2.What are the chances of me going the full 42 weeks again in this pregnancy(it is an awefully long time to be pregnant)?
I would love any input or info!!
Thanks
Kee
